High in 12" Standard at the 2008 CPE Nationals

Terra was #1 Miniature Schnauzer for 2007 in North American Dog Agility Council's Touch N Go and Tunnelers, #2 MS in Jumpers, and #3 MS in Weavers (tied), Chances, and Regular. She was #2 Miniature Schnauzer in NADAC Elite Tunnelers and Elite Jumpers from 8/05-8/06!!!

Britmor Let the Dirt Fly, a 12-3/4" black-and-silver, is daughter Kate's current agility dog. This little gal has some really big pawprints to fill, and she is growing into them very nicely! Terra is sired by Britmor Fly Boy, ME RA MX MXJ, Novice Versatility, 1000 Point Award, S-NJC, NGC, NGC-v, O-OAC, S-OJC, WV-O, O-TG-O, EAC, O-EAC-v, EJC-v, O-TN-E, AMSC-VA, CGC, and is our third generation agility dog. Terra began agility classes early in May 2003, and entered her first agility trials (NADAC) the end of August, 2003, where she qualified in her two Jumpers classes and one Tunnelers class, earning her NADAC Novice Jumpers Certificate. Terra's first Jumpers run was pretty funny. She got about 3/4 of the way through the run of 15 jumps and did sort of a small bobble and got this strange look on her face..... "WHAT? There's MORE jumps?!!!" It seems that Katie had never practiced running her on a long course like that before and the dog had never even SEEN 15 jumps at once, let alone done them!

Serious competition started in May, 2004, and Terra started racking up some of her Novice titles in July, and completed her AKC Open Standard title 1/22/05.

Terra continues to pile up those agility Q's, mostly in NADAC, and completed 21 agility titles from 6/04-6/05, and 28 titles from 6/05-6/06 (one of which was her Rally Novice title). She competed in Pre-Elite in her first NADAC Championships in 2005, and now will be concentrating a bit more on her higher AKC titles. She has also started competing in CPE trials.





















Terra completed her AKC Excellent Jumpers with Weaves title on 11/13/05, her Agility Excellent title on 1/22/06, her Master Excellent Jumpers title on 4/9/06, and her Master Excellent title on 1/19/07. She now has 18 Double-Qs and 949 pts. toward her MACH. Only 2 Double-Qs to go toward that MACH title!
















The 2006 NADAC Championships in Gillette, Wyoming, have now come and gone... This was Katie's fifth trip to the Championships and Terra's second (her first time in Elite). They placed six times in 11 runs and came home with a 7th Place!

One week after running in the Championships, Terra went High in Trial at the Minnesota Agility Club's CPE trial when she qualified in all nine of her weekend runs, with five 1st places, three 2nd places, and one 4th place. After the 25-37 obstacle courses at the Championships, those shorter courses (8-20 obstacles) must have seemed like a piece of cake to Terra! Terra was AWESOME, staying in all her weaves without popping out (weaves have been such a problem for her in the past); Katie thinks Terra probably did at least 72 weave poles this weekend. In one of her regular runs, Terra was .4 seconds slower than a really speedy border collie that Katie and I both love to watch, and Katie figured out that Terra was moving 5.6 yards per second in one of her better runs.

Terra went to the CPE Nationals in Nova Scotia in July, 2007, and placed SECOND in her height category for Standard, getting a RESERVE HIGH IN STANDARD!

Dec. 1, 2007, brought an early Christmas present when Terra finished her C-ATCH title at a local trial! What a year this has been!

At the 2008 CPE Nationals in Michigan, Terra was High in 12" Standard and Highest Scoring Schnauzer!

Here is one of Terra's (NADAC) Elite Tunnelers runs, where Katie decided to push the envelope as much as possible and try something "dangerous", Q(ualifying)-wise, and after she was done, boy, were her hands shaking! What an adrenalin rush! She sent Terra out away from her, and meanwhile headed straight ahead, layering the lighter blue tunnel. (Layering means there was another obstacle between Kate and the dog.) This was not one of Terra's fastest runs (she was running 16 feet per second in this run), but the distance she did was pretty impressive (at least to Mom!). This was Katie and Terra's best NADAC weekend ever, as they Q'd 11 out of 12 runs!

As a brief side note, Terra now has her Versatility NATCH portion in Elite Tunnelers (needed 13 qualifying runs in Elite; she's there), and is closing in on the other NATCH qualifications. So through 5/06 she got 330 points in lifetime Tunnelers points, and 110 points in Weavers, as a comparison. At the end of 2006, she had 2200 points in NADAC (220 Q's, total). Terra qualified in everything but Chances (needs one more Q) in four months (Aug. 1-Dec. 31) for the 2007 NADAC Championships to be held in Gillette, Wyoming, in September 2007, and we know she and Katie will be going.




Terra got her NATCH title in Murdo, SD, on Sept. 16, 2007, on her way to the 2007 NADAC Championships! Her VERSATILITY NATCH title was completed on May 17, 2008.
