Minnesota was well-represented at the NADAC Championships. Katie is standing and is the one in the middle. The woman to her right holding the sheltie ended up spraining her ankle, and Deb in the front row with the white bull terrier was enjoying her very first time at the Championships running her DEAF dog! Kristin Omdahl with schnauzer Odie ended up placing SECOND in 12" Pre-Elite; this was their very first time at the Championships, too!

The awards have been given out at the Awards Banquet and it is time to chow down.
Some are having more fun than others...

A final toast wishing all good runs at the Championships!
The Team looks so happy after their run.

Tearing up the course...

This is a wide-angle view of part of the crating area. The balloons were awarded at the banquet to those earning special awards during the past year.

Resting is imperative between runs. Katie is reading the paper, while Terra snuggles in Kate's arms. It was pretty cold there and jackets and blankets were the order of the day.

Reading about the Championships in the local newspaper.
Katie admires her balloons.

The balloons were given to those dogs and handlers completing special awards during the past year; Katie lost one of hers first thing. :(
Terra placed in six of her eleven runs.
